Vacation: Days of our Lives

Days relentlessly waiting for vacation was soon fulfilled and our souls were truly satisfied. God made perfect everything that concerned me over our vacation period. Our scenery shifted from Australian outback to lushful & cool landscapes in South-India.

Ice-cold waterfalls showering on warm & sunny days at Courtrallam & Gundaru dam-Gopal private waterfalls with families, followed by dining our favourite parotta at Border Rahmath. Well-known Boat-house at Allepey backwaters with superb hospitality & serving those native Karimeen fried fish; speed boating with our families, bought fresh catch of the day “yabbies”, followed by music & games with families. Cool air & unforgettable fresh new mornings at the resort, beautiful misty mountains at Munnar hillstation, nature’s rich bounty with tasty palm fruits & fresh coconuts, visited Mattupatty dam, boating & safari to Eravikulam National Park, watched beautiful native species Tahr goats and relaxed at serene resorts, explored Tea Factory. We celebrated the oneness with lots of native food & thanksgiving, sneaked into Cowboy Adventure Park (loads of fun there!). We embraced long awaited family get-togethers (yearning for each other for years since Covid lock-down); not to miss the hustle & bustle of Bangalore city, heart-warming hospitality & food,  fun filled barbeque at twilight with dear family, memorable days at Bannerghata National park & safari; watched celestial objects at sky theatre at Jawaharlal Nehru planetarium, good load of family meals, shared cooking, nanna co-sleeping, shared valuable & favourite childhood nibbles, shared “nephews” proud moments, heavy purchases, made into heavy laden travel bags, meet up with close friends & mentors, packed our bags and flew back to Australia.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights,  James 1:17

This vacation as a period of rest & enjoyment was a gift from God.

Thanks be to our Heavenly Father for his words spoken over my life.

If God had not been on my side, I would have had nervous breakdown by now.

His peace prevailed over the storm.

His grace kept me going.

His thunderous silence calmed me down.

His still voice still speaks in my deepest of heart.

Thank you Heavenly Father for your kindness & goodness.

Your love reaches down to the depth of my heart where many sorrows are buried.

Because of your unfailing grace, I have not been wandering with a broken heart.

Truly my Heavenly Father cares for me! Grateful for the rest which I received from Jesus Christ.

The Mighty Aura of Oneness

There is a world of difference in all of us. We might have seen differences in personality traits, in our upbringing, in our experiences, of desires, in our preferences, in our perception and so on. We all have our battlefield in our mind. So, we should have a strategy. What is your strategy?

There is an end to all things. There is a way to end victoriously. Read below a real-life story.

My battling strategy was like playing judo and chess. It goes like this. Take risk, be brave, win some, lose some, always protect your queen, keep standing till the end. I didn’t give up or give in. But I didn’t feel like a winner either.

I wondered there should be a better strategy. I prayed to God for His solution to my problems (related to relationships which led to health problems) and cast all cares and worries upon him.  I felt a promise of peace, quietness and relief. I decided to stop worrying about my problems, intentionally by faith. In a matter of days, I learned that my other friend also shared my intentions and thoughts. It was like a friend who could perfectly understand me. We were fitting exactly like a jigsaw puzzle. I was caught in surprise. In fact, my opponent turned friend had none other than Spirit of Oneness (Spirit of God) who brings unity in lives of people who are destined to stay together. I realised He is available to help us in our weak moments. Through your faith in the name of Jesus Christ, he can help us all. He is able to empathize with our weakness.

24 “It shall come to pass
That before they call, I will answer;
And while they are still speaking, I will hear… says the Lord. Isaiah 65:24

My gracious God listened to my heart even before I spoke to him in prayer.

The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the Lord,
At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. Psalms 97: 5

A short while ago, I felt mountain of anxiety and despair melt like wax in the presence of the Spirit of Oneness. There is more grace, more peace and more rest like never before in my life.

In any case, battlefield of our mind not just involves us. Because human mental strength fails, just as the legs of a warrior retire. We need the One greater than us.
