Who is in the holy temple?
Who is on the heavenly throne?
The One who sees the trouble of the afflicted;
The One who considers their grief,
The One who takes it in hand.

Hi Readers, welcome once again!
Good news! I got a new job, so close to my home. It’s something that I dreamed of, waited on for years and years. Favor came hand in hand with right timing. Oh boy, I jumped in.
My new mantra: Enjoy work, rest, enjoy work & rest
It’s all working out wonderfully like in the scripture below..
..God keeps me busy with the joy of my heart. Ecclesiastes 5: 20
I see kindness, unusual kindness all along my way. Since we moved to Canberra, I have been meeting up with people who are so kind and welcoming. We escaped Covid lockdowns in Sydney and quietly enjoying a resting season in Canberra. Pretty much like in the scripture below..
1Now when they had escaped, they then found out that the island was called Malta. 2 And the natives showed us unusual kindness; for they kindled a fire and made us all welcome, because of the rain that was falling and because of the cold. Acts 28: 1-2
Also, Unusual kindness from total strangers was an invitation from God to bless us even more. The Lord had been truly gracious and never stopped sending us help from above.
I thank God for his faithful love and kindness to our family, with a wonderful & new addition to our blessings (my new job).

Every night and early in the mornings, a loud and thunderous voice of a drunkard was heard at Mr. A’s apartment for several months. Whenever his mind felt disturbed, he also disturbs the sweet sleep of his neighbours. Constant yelling and booze and aggressive noise made his night. He would attempt breaking in for no reason. His neighbours complained and protested but nothing changed. And so, I began to ask God’s help found in this Scripture.

This is one of many astonishing changes that happened some days ago in this quiet dull season. Due to pandemic, businesses were slowing down. Business expenditure had to be slashed. Losing jobs shocked many in the community. At this point of time, my husband’s job didn’t seem steady. His project was put on hold and was given 4 weeks period of notice. We never thought this problem would arise.
We prayed to God earnestly for an opening that would bless our family. God listened to our prayers. After praying, we were not afraid. We felt a sense of calm. Quietness filled our soul after we gave our burden and worries that mattered to us to Almighty God in prayer. After 2 weeks, someone called him for a job proposal. With so many companies laying off professionals and workers, my husband got the job at the right time. They were impressed and we found favor in the sight of God and men. God helped us right on time. I thank God for he did not leave us hungry or broken-hearted. Help came in at the right time. We received the comfort from God, the sure salvation from Lord Almighty.
“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” Hebrews 13:6
We daily thank Lord Jesus Christ for the price He paid at the cross for us.
This is a real life incident of a beautiful family on their trip in India a decade ago. It still inspires me. Everything was packed and set for a mini-trip. There were no seat-belt restrictions or any other conditions for backseat passengers. This family had their young child sit at the back seat of their car. The couple happy and comfortable started their trip. The couple failed to check the rear door where their child had been lying. They started their trip. In a split-second, the door opened wide and the child rolled away out of the car.
The mother realised her terrible mistake.
This woman kept her faith in Lord Jesus Christ. She believed that Jesus gave his life for everyone. She believed there is victory in the blood of Jesus. As soon as the child fell out of the car, she screamed “Oh Lord, save my baby by your precious blood” and got off running to pick her child.. A car behind theirs in full speed stopped quickly. Just then, the mother thanked the driver for stopping at the right time. To their surprise, the driver said, “I did not push the brakes, it happened suddenly”.. the car did not move any further as if someone had intentionally stopped the car”
Then she remembered, because she called on the name of the Lord by his life-giving blood, they were saved.
for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Romans 10:13
Our help is in the name of the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 124:8
Our Lord is merciful and kind. Call on him today.
On my journey back home from overseas, I was reminiscing memories of good things that happened over the holidays. I’m forever grateful for every single event – teddy bear hugs, giggles, scrumptious food, sleep, companionship, useful resources, relatives who stuck together through thick and thin.
After savoring everything nice, suddenly I started having the worst head-ache of the decade. Intense pain at the back of my head on left side. I was sure, this was due to stress. I tried to relax. But the pain grew worse. My head felt heavy. Again, I thought I needed more sleep. Pain persisted for 3 days. Suddenly, I felt like something snapping at the back of my head on the left side. This time I hurried my way to do something about it.
These words came to my mind at once… God has given me his Spirit of sonship. By him, I can call him Abba (Father) anytime and ask for help. I don’t need to take this pain or suffer all alone. So, I prayed to my Heavenly Father. I proclaimed that I had received salvation through the sacrifice of Lord Jesus Christ and proclaimed I had received his Spirit of sonship. I prayed that this pain leave my body. Just as I was speaking in prayer, pain left my body. Until now, I feel no pain. I thank Heavenly Father for his faithful love and generous favor upon my life.
The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15
On a lazy Saturday morning, we all got up with ease. Praying and playing together have always been a part of morning routine. We decided to do weekend shopping and proceeded to the mall. My little one as always sat on the trolley baby seat and asked what to buy next. We came the veggie shop. Fascinated by green pea pods, he picked it up. It was starting to itch a bit. He rubbed his eyes. I thought it was just mild itching and so continued shopping. Every time I turned to look at him, his eyes and the part around his eyes were swelling more and more. It didn’t seem like a normal itching problem now. His face was slowly starting to look disfigured. That’s when I thought running to the emergency was the right thing to do.
My son is a radiant, ruddy charmer, live wire, people say. In a matter of few seconds, his face was swollen. He lost his beauty & charm and became irritable and lethargic. That is anaphylaxis, nurses said. A bunch of wonderful nurses attended him like angels and he responded to medicines. He got well. One of the nurses asked me how come I did not panic at the situation. She said, “Many parents come running in tears and worry about the child’s reaction. ” She was watching me from the beginning when my son entered the emergency unit. Well, the reason was I knew God will surely help me today.
Just before we left home, we read Psalm 46 from the Bible and I remembered this verse in particular.
God is within her, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day. Psalm 46:5
So I knew surely God dwells in my family. We will not fall. And God will help my family at break of day.
We did have something big bothering us but we did not fall.
God is faithful to his word everyday. I thank Heavenly Father through Lord Jesus Christ for his greatest help and tender – mercies that surrounded my little one in the time of our need.
A beautiful lady in her mid-40s had not heard a thing in the world since birth. She led a quiet, calm life of contentment with one important thing missing in her life. With her good looks, no one could miss her presence. She only stayed at home with her family and kept her world of loneliness to herself.
One day she was invited to a prayer meeting organised by a gifted God-fearing woman. She came and sat down on the front row knowing that it was a long talk and only the crowd would benefit from it. In a matter of few minutes, her ears were opened. She started to hear what the speaker was saying. She started smiling with excitement as it was the first time ever, she was hearing since birth.
She stood as a witness that only the word of God spoken through the speaker opened her ears. No doctor could help her but God Almighty helped her by His words. He sent his words and healed her forever. His words worked like medicine, like a surgeon who works on the inside of the body. Our God is an awesome God.
She and her family went home with great joy and celebrated God’s goodness displayed on her health. Her countenance changed to a glad and cheerful person. Her gratefulness to God has touched many people living in her hometown.
Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Isaiah 50:7 (from Holy Bible)
