The King’s Healing Light

In a land not of our own, as written in the great oracles, there existed a kingdom waiting to be unveiled, a place where every shadow of sorrow, every spell of misery and darkness is made void. From the guise of a humble mortal shall emerge a force of unimaginable might, destined to bring this wondrous realm into being upon the earth. His kingdom is a beacon of hope, will shine forever, untouched by the passage of time. His kingdom never fades and will last forever.

Those who yearn to seek, to embrace, and to serve the true King shall find their place in this enchanted land, standing bravely against all trials and tribulations of their mortal journey. Even in the face of adversity, they will remain steadfast within the warmth of his kingdom, forever guided by his radiant light and the promise of adventure that awaits.

People of all ages, burdened by various ailments and pains, gathered before the King. Each soul yearned to cast aside the heavy stone of misery and death. As foretold by the ancient oracles, a miracle unfolded for each of them. The King healed them all, leaving no one behind. Not a single person could claim that their pleas were ignored; each was met with kindness and grace. All received the precious gifts of health and wholeness, and no one could declare, “I am sick.”

He was and is worthy of worship, adored for his incredible power. Every illness and affliction that sought to consume the weak was vanquished. The frail were made strong again.

He restored minds once broken by torment, curing seizures and raising the paralyzed, transforming them into living marvels. Those tormented by demons, driven into chaos and despair, found solace; their psychosomatic suffering vanished completely. There remained no trace of illness—only the faint echoes of a past now healed.

That is my King Jesus Christ ! Taken from Matthew 4: 23, 24.

Ruth’s Loveliness: The Graceful Stranger

Ruth’s reputation for kindness was widely known in Naomi’s hometown. However, Naomi, Ruth’s mother-in-law, became increasingly bitter over time. She carried the weight of her uncertain future, grieving the loss of her husband and two sons, and enduring the hardships of life and emotional distress. Ruth faced the challenge of living with a bitter individual, an experience that may not have been pleasant.

Despite being advised to leave Naomi and pursue a prosperous life as a young widow, Ruth chose to remain by her side. She refused to give up on her identity and stayed in her rightful place. As a foreigner and stranger in the land, she had little reason to depend on her deceased husband’s family. The family’s wealth and reputation had diminished, and their desires went unfulfilled. Nevertheless, Ruth did not return to her parents and her homeland. Instead, she extended kindness to her mother-in-law (the only existing member of her deceased husband’s family).

Ruth’s good deeds and kindness earned her commendation. Boaz, recognizing her goodwill, believed that the Lord would reward her for her faithfulness and kindness. Despite her circumstances, Ruth determined that her identity was to position herself and find safety and protection under the wings of the Lord. She displayed determination, purpose, kindness, adaptability, and grace, pushing her limits and embracing change.

May we also seek solace in our Heavenly Father’s love, just as Ruth, a stranger, found favor and peace beneath God’s wings.

Taken from Scripture:

11 And Boaz answered and said to her, “It has been fully reported to me, all that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and have come to a people whom you did not know before. 12 The Lord repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.”

13 Then she said, “Let me find favor in your sight, my lord; for you have comforted me, and have spoken kindly to your maidservant, though I am not like one of your maidservants.”

Boaz’s Boundless Grace : A Tale of Freedom to a Love-lost Woman

Ruth was profoundly moved by the genuine kindness demonstrated by Boaz. She felt a deep sense of humility. The remarkable generosity he showed towards a woman of a different language and background left her astounded. It was a favor that went beyond the confines of traditional stories, transcending the boundaries of culture, language, and upbringing that separated Ruth and Boaz. This newfound wave of mercy felt divinely inspired to Ruth, for it was a form of grace that was truly unique within their nation.

Never had Ruth envisioned encountering a man so kind-hearted, who not only offered her grains and food but also provided guidance on finding the right companionship and offered advice to ensure her safety and protection from harm and danger. In a world where women often found themselves vulnerable and prone to being misjudged and mistreated, the hope that Boaz extended to Ruth was a beacon of light. His words of caution served as a shield, discouraging any ill-intentioned men from taking advantage of her. This is a tale of kindness and freedom to a love-lost woman.

As seen in this Scripture verse – 10 At this, she bowed down with her face to the ground. She asked him, “Why have I found such favor in your eyes that you notice me—a foreigner?”

The freedom bestowed upon a foreign woman like Ruth by Boaz was a manifestation of grace. It exemplified the essence of Jesus, the epitome of grace, who bestows freedom and life upon all. The life-giving actions of Boaz revealed a personality characterized by grace. The true and perfect grace person is Jesus Christ.

We Moved to the Nation’s Capital

Hello Readers, we moved to Canberra. Just sat down to reminisce our fond memories while in Sydney and recount on the paths we took… there were daily grind of things, life-changing moments, defining moments, a transitional phase where you know you are not there yet. The life journey from changing baby diapers to job search, to learning new skillset, changing mindset, making unending compromises, making room for new, renewal of mind, to believe in our guts to move to Canberra. Phew! Have I said enough?

Personally, I survived the emptiness of the dry season of my life. I survived the ruthless raving waves of the sea. I did not sink in the waters of anxiety that surrounded me. Echoes of sick phone calls woke me up at nights but the Lord was with me. His lovingkindness is better than life – Psalm 63: 3.

When the raging storms rushed through without notice, there was the peace that passes understanding. I had felt the serene beauty of the gentle spirit inside of me. When my understanding said there’s no hope left, look around (anything can happen), the peace of God filled me and made me firm. The name Jesus Christ have always been my strength and hope. He loved me and gave himself for me – Galatians 2: 20

Surely goodness and mercies of God followed me every day while in Sydney. I survived my brokenness and wretchedness by His grace. I fought the good fight of faith. I was crushed but I was not broken.

12 But the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and spread; so the Egyptians came to dread the Israelites. Exodus 1: 12

I have experienced the severity of the desert heat, harsh treatment of life circumstances. But it did not stop us from prospering. We had huge personal loan and we prayed to pay off soon. We were sick and tired of paying back. Within a matter of few days, God gave us a desire and passion to start an IT business. My hubby and I took a leap of faith. As days went by, God brought in clients. Gradually, we had good income that we successfully closed all our loans now. Debt free in few months’ time just the way we asked for in prayer! All hail King Jesus!

I thank the Lord for his great purposes and awesome deeds in my life and family.  Praise you Heavenly Father!

A Day in My Life

A day in my life

I spread out my wings

I flew, I darted, I stalled

I fled and rested

I counted them all in my little nest

Shares of distress and joy

Looking up to the mountains

A soft whisper, a cry for mercy

Longing for His warm embrace

Yearning for His sweet fellowship

With enough God’s consolation

His gentle words stir my heart

As scent of water to a dry tree

So, the scent of His power over my life

That’s the wonder of His unfailing love

You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas, Psalm 65:5

Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me! Psalm 66:20

God loves you, my friend! Lord Jesus is alive!

Knock knock

Knock knock.

Who’s there?

Your chum

Chum who?

Anxiety: I can creep over your door.

Hope: Oh, you again?

Anxiety: Yes, outdoors is fierce.

Hope: Houseful here!

Anxiety: I can lurk in from under the door.

Hope: No, wait outside.

Anxiety: I’m huffing and puffing.. can’t settle here.

Hope: Is it right for you to be angry?

Anxiety: It’s rather important.

Hope: Nothing but life.

Anxiety: But there is a sea of trouble ahead of you.

Hope: One with authority subdues surging seas.

Anxiety: Your hope puts me down.

Hope: I will pass through by His Spirit.

Anxiety: Why delay so long?

Hope: Because the great God said so!

Story of a woman Humpty

A rebel from birth, often mistaken, innocent but blamed was the life of a beautiful woman who is now in her early 60s. She was orphaned in her late teens. Her life had been a drama packed with so much of musing. Her courage was eaten up by her weak conscience. Her story of life continued with a sigh and constant allergic reactions whenever her stress hit her hard. Battling with her struggles day and night physically and emotionally, she had completely lost her focus of her real self.

Constant ramblings and tears didn’t ease her pain. She tried to gain favour and affection for a friendship with a close knit female contemporary. It didn’t work out too. It actually got worse. Her temper and worry didn’t add anything to her life. “All the King’s horses and all the King’s men could not put Humpty together again” was the exact scenario of her life. No one could help her. She had not felt the grace and power that was needed to live an enchanted life. Everything was a mess. Toil followed mess, followed by worries and anger, followed by lack of courage and tasteless life. Such was the life of this woman. Not feel like living was the only instinct.

There was one thing her heart was longing for and that was her only asset. Her desire turned towards her asset. She knew her asset was living, true, genuine and never lie. She would sleep in peace because her asset is truly trustworthy and full of love. She believed that it will embrace her and save her out of all her troubles. Her hope started to spring up like a new shoot full of life eagerly desiring for more light to shine on her. Her sorrow and sighing were going away day by day. She felt a huge weight lifted off her shoulders. Just as the dew drops refresh the plant, so her life was refreshed, restored and comforted by God’s rich mercy.

Her asset was and still is the word of God, the Bible. It is the voice of God that changed the realities of her life. She is grateful to him who took her from strength to strength.
